The Acquisitions Department, part of Library Technical Services, is headed by Associate Librarian Janet Siar. The department overall is responsible for acquiring most library materials.

Monographic Acquisitions
The Monographs Unit, coordinated by Maggie Ferris, is responsible for the ordering of monographic materials for the University of Delaware Library.

Serials

The Serials Unit, coordinated by Marie Seymour-Green, is responsible for ordering and processing incoming serials which includes magazines, newspapers, print journals, electronic journals, and annual editions. The Unit also processes incoming media such as microfilm, microfiche and CD-ROM serial titles.

Government Documents and Maps Processing

The University of Delaware Library is a Federal Depository for US Government Documents. The Government Documents and Maps Unit, coordinated by John Stevenson, is responsible for processing any incoming government documents, maps and related materials.
