| Access: | Freely available Internet database |
| Description: | A comprehensive and up-to-date art history bibliography, covering European and American art from late antiquity to the present. BHA indexes and abstracts art-related books, conference proceedings and dissertations, exhibition and dealers’ catalogs, and articles from more than 1200 periodicals. The database available on the Getty Web site contains content from two sources: BHA (Bibliography of the History of Art) covers the years 1990-2007, and RILA (Répertoire de la litterature de l'art) covers the years 1975-1989. At present, the Getty has no plans to add content from RAA (Répertoire d'art et d'archéologie), which covers 1910-1989. |
