Also known as: formerly called The Amico Library
Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
  1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
  2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
  3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)

CAMIO—OCLC’s Catalog of Art Museum Images Online—is a growing online collection documenting works of art from around the world. Images, text and multimedia represent a broad range of works of art from the collections of prominent museums, highlighting the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms.

Types of works include paintings, sculptures, drawings and watercolors, prints, photographs, textiles, customs and jewelry, works of decorative art, and books and manuscripts. Cultures represented are Europe, including ancient Greece and Rome; the Americas, including Pre-Columbian (Meso-American); Asia, including ancient Asia Minor; and Africa, including ancient Egypt.

Coverage: antiquity to the present
Permitted Uses: CAMIO is licensed for use by students, faculty, and researchers at subscribing institutions. Works of art may be used for educational and research purposes during the term of the subscription, if they are properly credited. Images may not be published or otherwise distributed.”
