Classical Music Library Connect to Classical Music Library
  The acquisition of the Classical Music Library database was enabled through the support of the Henry Newton Lee, Jr. Family Library Music Fund.
Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
   1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
   2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
   3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)
Description:

Classical Music Library is the world’s largest multi-label database of classical music recordings for listening and learning in libraries. The growing collection of more than 50,000 tracks includes recordings from the world’s greatest labels including Hyperion, Bridge Records, Sanctuary Classics, Artemis-Vanguard, Hänssler Classic, Vox, and many more. Coverage includes music written from the earliest times (e.g. Gregorian chant) to the present, including many contemporary composers. Repertoire ranges from vocal and choral music, to chamber, orchestral, solo instrumental, and opera. The current release includes 3,460 albums, equalling 53,908 tracks.

Classical Music Library is a component of Music Online.

Personalization: Click on “Register” for free registration. Then, create your own playlists and store them in your Playlists folder.
Notes: Headphones are available for checkout from the Student Multimedia Design Center.

Output Formats:

Selections in Music Online are available at two streaming rates: 64 Kbps (“Standard”) for users on slower Internet connections and 320 Kbps (“High”) for broadband users. Toggle between the two rates by using the switch at the bottom right hand corner of the player window.

Selections are streamed to you and it is not possible to download or burn to CD any music on Music Online free of charge. You may click on the “download” icon next to selected musical works and download for a fee.
