Computer Database  Connect to Computer Database
Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
   1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
   2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
   3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)

Provides indexing and abstracting of high-tech publications in the areas of computer science, electronics, telecommunications, and microcomputer applications. The full text of many articles is available.

By clicking on the “Visual Search” tab, you can search the database and have your results sorted by topic in an interactive, visual map.

Coverage: 1980-
Journals: The title list page provides information on the business and technical publications covered. You may also click on “Title List” on the navigation bar.

Notes: Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, General BusinessFile ASAP, General OneFile, Health Reference Center Academic, LegalTrac, and Opposing Viewpoints in Context may be searched in combination. To do this, click on “Change Databases” in the upper right of the screen. You will be taken to a page which lists the Thomson Gale Cross Searchable Databases and then Additional Databases. Select or unselect from the list of Cross Searchable Databases and then click “Submit”. General OneFile includes not only the databases above, but also the periodical content from the other Gale Resource Center databases, i.e., Biography in Context, Business Insights: Essentials, and Literature Resource Center.
