Expanded Academic ASAP  Connect to Expanded Academic ASAP
Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
   1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
   2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
   3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)
Description: Provides indexing and abstracting of over 3,000 scholarly and general interest periodicals, with the full text of articles from many of these periodicals available, as well as indexing of the most current six months of The New York Times. The database integrates core titles in every major academic concentration; area- and issue-specific journals; academic journals with application in the professions; and publications with national news coverage and commentary.

Notes: Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, General BusinessFile ASAP, General OneFile, Health Reference Center Academic, LegalTrac, and Opposing Viewpoints in Context may be searched in combination. To do this, click on “Change Databases” in the upper right of the screen. You will be taken to a page which lists the Thomson Gale Cross Searchable Databases and then Additional Databases. Select or unselect from the list of Cross Searchable Databases and then click “Submit”. General OneFile includes not only the databases above, but also the periodical content from the other Gale Resource Center databases, i.e., Biography in Context, Business Insights: Essentials, and Literature Resource Center.
