| Description: | A comprehensive dictionary of art and artists. It provides Web access to the entire text of The Dictionary of Art (1996, 34 vols.) with constant additions of new material and updates to the text, as well as extensive image links. It also includes entries from The Oxford Companion to Western Art (ed. Hugh Brigstocke, 2001). Key art images are displayed directly in the text of articles. |
