Health Reference Center Academic  Connect to Health Reference Center-Academic
Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
   1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
   2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
   3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)
Description: Health and wellness research designed especially for the layperson. It contains indexing to medical journals and consumer health magazines. In addition, the full text of more than 500 health pamphlets, six medical reference books, and articles from more than 1500 general interest magazines is available.

Journals: A list of journal titles included is available. Click on “Title List” in the navigation bar.

Notes: Computer Database, Expanded Academic ASAP, General BusinessFile ASAP, General OneFile, Health Reference Center Academic, LegalTrac, and Opposing Viewpoints in Context may be searched in combination. To do this, click on “Change Databases” in the upper right of the screen. You will be taken to a page which lists the Thomson Gale Cross Searchable Databases and then Additional Databases. Select or unselect from the list of Cross Searchable Databases and then click “Submit”. General OneFile includes not only the databases above, but also the periodical content from the other Gale Resource Center databases, i.e., Biography in Context, Business Insights: Essentials, and Literature Resource Center.
