Access: Internet-delivered database. There are three ways to connect:
  1. from a public computer in the University of Delaware Library
  2. from a University of Delaware campus connection in your dorm, lab, or office
  3. from an off-campus connection (University of Delaware ID required)

LexisNexis Academic provides full-text information from newspapers, law sources, and business and company sources. News coverage includes Broadcast Transcripts and Foreign Language News. Legal coverage includes law reviews, legal reference materials, federal and state cases, federal and state cases statutes and regulations, and Shepard's Citations.

Coverage: variable, depending on subfile
Updated: daily
Journals: To see the list of sources included, select: Source Directory on the top right. Both Find and Browse are available. To see the sources in a particular content type, select the content type (from the Search by Content options), then select Advanced Options. Select the I icon for coverage of specific sources.
Notes: A simple search is available from the opening page; this works well for news sources. For other sources, select the appropriate materials from the Search by Content options. Each content type has a simple search and an advanced search.
Permitted Uses: Click on “Terms and Conditions” at the bottom of every screen.
Help: Links to a research wiki with searching hints and content coverage and descriptions. For further assistance, Ask the Library.
