Description: Parker Library on the Web is a digitization project by Corpus Christi College, Stanford University Libraries, and Cambridge University Library. It provides high-resolution copies of every imageable page in the Corpus Christi College Library’s collection of 538 manuscripts spanning the sixth to the sixteenth centuries; a fully tagged version of M. R. James’ well-known catalog entitled A Descriptive Catalogue of the Manuscripts in the Library of Corpus Christi College (Cambridge, Eng.: Cambridge University Press, 1912), updated and expanded; and bibliographic entries for more than 6,000 secondary works and more than 18,000 citations linking those works to individual manuscripts.
Coverage: 6th-16th centuries
Permitted Uses: “The manuscript page images on the Site are the copyrighted property of the Master and Fellows of Corpus Christi College. These images may be examined by registered users, and downloaded for individual research use only, consistent with the ‘fair dealing’ provisions of United Kingdom copyright law. Information about fair dealing is available. For the avoidance of doubt, no whole image or any piece thereof may be reproduced for further distribution or consultation, whether for commercial or not-for-profit purpose, in any format or medium whatsoever, without the express written permission of the Master and Fellows of Corpus Christi College.”
