“Using Educational Technology to Communicate with Faculty and Students” – Discussion and demonstration of how educational technology mediums such as blogs, wikis, clickers, and online tutorials have been successfully used to communicate and collaborate with faculty and students

“Consumer Health Information Services: At the Library and Beyond” – Current outreach strategies for bringing health information to library patrons and to members of the community.  Susan will also speak about her collaboration with local organizations to present health information programs to the public.

Susan LaValley, Consumer Health Librarian for New Castle County. 

There is no charge for this program.  Advance registration is required to plan for the breakfast and program materials.  Participants are welcome to go to lunch with colleagues at nearby restaurants following the program.  Please indicate your interest in being included in a lunch reservation when you register.


The Christiana Care Campus is on Route 58 (Churchman’s Road) near Exit 4B of I95.  A map of the relevant part of the campus may be found at http://www.christianacare.org/body.cfm?id=1749   Use Parking Lot C and the John H. Ammon Medical Education Center entrance.  The conference room we will be using, Number 14, is located near the lobby of the Education Center.
