1. Bylaws
The Bylaws are a legal document and are part of the incorporation of Delaware Library Association, Incorporated, as a nonprofit organization. The Bylaws are in the DLA Handbook, on pages 5 through 10.
Amendments to the Bylaws need approval at two consecutive meetings of DLA membership. The first vote for approval was at the 2011 Maryland Library Association / Delaware Library Association joint conference (May 6, 2011).

2. Handbook
The handbook contains the Bylaws for the Association and for the Divisions, duties of the officers, committee descriptions, and guidelines for many Association activities.
