UD students, faculty and staff may obtain a UdelNet ID and password at no charge. Distance education students can also contact UD Online for assistance. The UD computing account provides access to e-mail and electronic library resources. These resources include electronic newspapers and journals as well as databases that contain full-text articles, statistics, reports, and more.
Off-campus access to the University of Delaware Library's electronic resources is available only to University of Delaware users, including UD distance learning students, due to electronic license restrictions. To access the University of Delaware Library's electronic resources off campus, users must authenticate through UD's web proxy server. The University of Delaware Web Proxy Server instructions are available at http://www.udel.edu/topics/connect/webproxy/index.html.
The UD Morris Library Computing Site is located in the Student Multimedia Design Center, and it is open to individuals with ID cards from the University of Delaware, Delaware State University, and Delaware Technical & Community College.
