  As part of its strategic plan, the Joint Steering Committee for Revision of Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (JSC) is working towards a new edition of AACR (scheduled for publication in 2008). In order to enable the JSC and constituencies to concentrate on the new edition, the last update to AACR2 was in 2005. More about RDA: Resource Description and Access is available.

  The three handouts are now available online from the National Bibliography Program page of the FDLP Desktop. GPO requested comments on the National Bibliography Policy - Separate Records for Titles in Multiple Formats be submitted by March 18, 2005.
• Using Online Processing Tools
  ALA/GODORT Cataloging Committee members , Kirsten Clark, and Elaine Winske presented a program about the online processing of depository titles at the Depository Library Council meeting in Mobile, AL. Their PowerPoint Presentation may be downloaded directly, or chosen from the list of available 2002 Spring Council Presentations.
