As part of its strategic plan, the Joint Steering Committee for Revision of Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (JSC) is working
towards a new edition of AACR (scheduled for publication in 2008). In order to enable the JSC and constituencies to
concentrate on the new edition, the last update to AACR2 was in 2005. More about
