Final Exams Late-night Study Locations

Late-night campus study locations available for use by University of Delaware students before and during fall semester final exams include Daugherty Hall, Kent Dining Hall, Morris Library, and the Morris Library Commons.

Kent Dining Hall will be open for study from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m., Thursday, December 7 through Thursday, December 14, 2006. For an extra boost during extended hours of late-night study, Kent Dining Hall offers “PJs and Pancakes” from 10 p.m.-midnight, Monday, December 11, 2006.

Beginning on Sunday, December 3, 2006, the Morris Library Commons will be open 24-hours-a-day until the last day of exams, closing at 7 p.m., Friday, December 15, 2006. The Commons offers wired and wireless Internet access, vending machines, and restrooms and is located adjacent to the Morris Library entrance. During hours that the Morris Library is closed and the Commons is open, entrance to the Commons will be via the patio door.

The Morris Library will be open from:

8 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, December 1 (also Morris Library Commons)
9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, December 2 (also Morris Library Commons)
11 a.m.-Midnight, Sunday, December 3
8 a.m.-Midnight, Monday-Thursday, December 4-7
8 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, December 8
9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, December 9
11 a.m.-Midnight, Sunday, December 10
8 a.m.-Midnight, Monday-Thursday, December 11-14; and
8 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday, December 15

Daugherty Hall in the Trabant University Center will be open from:

7 a.m.-2 a.m., Thursday and Friday, December 7 and 8
9 a.m.- 2 a.m., Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10
7 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday-Thursday, December 11-14; and
7 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, December 15

Bleecker Street café which is located in the Morris Library Commons will be open with a limited menu for extended hours beyond normal closing time. As a trial, Dining Services will extend the hours for Bleecker Street as a “test”, from 10pm until midnight starting on Thursday, December 7th until Tuesday, December 12th. Wednesday, the 13th and Thursday, the 14th Bleecker Street will close at the regular hours, 10pm, and Friday on Saturday, December 9th from 1pm to Midnight. (Bleecker is normally closed Saturday.)
