RefWorks: A Researcher's Best Friend
Students, faculty, and staff of the University of Delaware looking for a jump start on managing their research this fall are invited to look no further than the Library. In Fall 2007 the University of Delaware Library will present a series of workshops on “RefWorks,” a web-based program provided by the Library that allows researchers to create and manage references, as well as generate bibliographies and export references from databases into their RefWorks account.
Workshops are divided into two levels: “Intro to RefWorks” which covers setting up an account, managing references, and other basic features; and “RefWorks Advanced” which shows users how to export citations from research databases into a user’s personal RefWorks folder, and how to use the “Write ‘N Cit” feature that inserts notes and citations into documents.
Workshops for “Intro to RefWorks” are offered on the following dates and times:
Wednesday, September 19, 2007, from 3:00-4:00 p.m.;
Tuesday, September 25, 2007, 2007, from 3:00-4:00 p.m.;
Wednesday, October 10, 2007, from 3:00-4:00 p.m.;
