Strategies for Success with Media in a Copyrighted World
The Instructional Media Department of the University of Delaware Library will offer University of Delaware faculty, lecturers, and instructors an hour-long overview of how faculty can operate successfully with media in a copyrighted world on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. While many presentation materials have restricted use, there is a wealth of materials that can be tapped freely and legally. The emphasis for this session will be on what you can do to take advantage of free resources and licensed media available at the University of Delaware, as well as recent developments in copyright law that allow faculty greater flexibility when using media for instruction. Online resources from the Library's Instructional Media Collection Department and the World Wide Web will be featured.
The presenter will be Meghann Matwichuk of the Instructional Media Collection Department.
Registration is required. To register for this “Strategies for Success with Media in a Copyright World” session, visit [http://www2.lib.udel.edu/usered/workshops/current.htm].
