Library Workshop: Genealogy for Beginners 

    Are you new to genealogy, or just starting to work on your family tree? Come to the Genealogy for Beginners Workshop at the University of Delaware Library on February 6, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room 116A of the Morris Library.

    The workshop will cover basic genealogy research methods and provide an overview of the finding aids and resources available. Attendees will learn how to search the online database Ancestry Library Edition for U.S. census records, locate ship passenger lists, and utilize city directories, so bring some family member names to research.

    The workshop is free and open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff as well as the general public. Seating is limited and registration is required.
