The University of Delaware Library invites students, faculty and staff of the University of Delaware to workshops offered during Winter session 2009 on RefWorks, a web-based research management system provided by the University of Delaware Library. RefWorks is used to create and manage references, export references from databases, and generate bibliographies or reference lists. RefWorks is available from the Library Databases page [http://www.udel.edu/library/db/].
Two levels of workshops are offered: “Introduction to RefWorks,” which covers setting up an account, managing references, and other basic features, and “RefWorks Advanced,” which covers exporting references from research databases, organizing references, using the Write–N-Cite feature to insert in-text citations, editing in-text citations, and creating bibliographies or reference lists.
The “Introduction to RefWorks” workshop will be offered on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
The “RefWorks Advanced” workshop will be offered on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
The workshops will be held in the in the Library Instruction Room (Room 116A), Morris Library, First Floor.
