Library Workshops and Orientations during Winter Session
The University of Delaware Library is offering a series of Winter Session workshops and orientations designed to help faculty and students of the University of Delaware discover better ways to fund and organize their research, and learn more about the Student Multimedia Design Center of the University of Delaware Library.
Featured workshops include:

Student Multimedia Design Center Orientations, which provide 30-minute tours of the multimedia studios, classrooms, general computer area, and services that comprise the Center. Orientations are from 2:00 – 2:30 p.m. on January 7, January 11, January 14, and January 18, 2008. Location: Morris Library, Lower Level, Student Multimedia Design Center service desk

Research Funding Online, a workshop on Library databases that provide information to assist users in securing grants and research funding. This workshop will be held from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 10 and again on Thursday, January 24, 2008. Location: Morris Library, First Floor, Room 116A.

RefWorks, a database that organizes references and creates instant bibliographies. Introduction to RefWorks will be held from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. RefWorks Advanced will be held from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday,

Web of Science, a Library database that allows a scholar to see how many times his or her work has been cited. This workshop will be offered from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Location: Morris Library, First Floor, Room 116A.
