Research Funding Workshops

The University of Delaware Library will present a series of workshops for faculty, staff, and researchers of the University of Delaware on research funding during Winter Session 2009.

The workshops will focus on two library databases, Foundation Directory Online and
COS Funding Opportunities, which faculty, staff, and graduate students can use to identify potential funding resources, such as grants from private foundations, corporations and public charities.  The research funding workshops will cover strategies for searching the databases, procedures for using alerting services and RSS feeds and locating additional grant information
on the Internet.  Both databases are available on the Library Databases page (www.udel.edu/library/db/).  The workshops will be held in the Library Instruction Room (Room 116A) Morris Library, First Floor and each workshop in this series below is tailored to meet the needs of specific communities of scholarship:

This workshop series is co-sponsored by the University of Delaware Research Office and the presenter will be Carol Rudisell, Librarian in the Reference Department of the University of Delaware Library.  The workshops are open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff. Seating is limited and registration is required.  For questions, e-mail or call (302) 831-2432.
