Teaching with Media - Instructional Media Resources for Instructors
How can more media be incorporated into teaching? What films and videos are available for class reviewing? How can videos be checked out? Wonder no more: the University of Delaware Library Instructional Media Collection Department will offer an hour-long overview of film and video resources and services focused on classroom instructional support and research to University of Delaware faculty and course instructors.
The workshops will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., and Tuesday, February 19, 2008, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the Instructional Media Collection Department in the Morris Library of the University of Delaware Library.
Each session will begin with a tour of the Instructional Media Department facilities on the Lower Level of the Morris Library, which include newly revamped viewing carrels, a Viewing Room, and a Media Research Room. Participants will be shown how to search the Media Collection on DELCAT and will be given an online tour of the Instructional Media web site.
