Library Offers RefWorks Workshops

    The University of Delaware Library invites University of Delaware students, faculty and staff to attend workshops being offered during the Spring 2009 semester on RefWorks, a
web-based research management system provided by the University of Delaware Library.   RefWorks is used to create and manage references, export references from databases, and generate bibliographies or reference lists.  RefWorks is available from the Library Databases page [].

    Two levels of workshops are offered:  “Introduction to RefWorks,” which covers setting up an account, managing references, exporting references from research databases, and creating bibliographies and other basic features and “RefWorks Advanced,” which covers exporting references from research databases, organizing references, using the Write–N-Cite feature to insert in-text citations, editing in-text citations, and creating bibliographies or reference lists.

    Additionally, the Library will offer “Citing Using APA Style and RefWorks” which covers using the APA citation style in conjunction with RefWorks.  This workshop will be offered Thursday, March 26, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
