Library Offers Research Funding Workshops

The University of Delaware Library is presenting two workshops for University of Delaware faculty, staff, and researchers on research funding during the 2009 summer sessions.

The workshops will focus on two library databases, Foundation Directory Online and COS Funding Opportunities, which faculty, staff and graduate students can use to identify potential funding resources such as grants from private foundations, corporations and public charities.  The workshops will cover strategies for searching the databases, procedures for using alerting services and RSS feeds, and locating additional grant information on the Internet.  Both databases are available on the Library Databases page (www.lib.udel.edu/db/).   The workshops will be held on the following dates:

The workshops will be presented by Librarian Carol Rudisell in the Library Instruction Room (room 116A) on the first floor of the Morris Library.

The workshops are open to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff.   Seating is limited and registration is required at http://www2.lib.udel.edu/usered/workshops/current.htm.
