WorldCat Local Workshops, Spring 2009

The University of Delaware Library invites students, faculty and staff to attend workshops offered during the Spring 2009 semester on WorldCat Local which is a new Library resource that gives users a quick and convenient method for performing research at the University of Delaware.
Users of WorldCat Local can now search for materials that are contained in DELCAT (the online catalog of the University of Delaware collection) as well as journal articles and materials contained in thousands of libraries throughout the United States and worldwide in a single search.
Each workshop will give users the basic tools to use this new system and its features, which include linking directly to articles, accessing information on titles through Google Books, requesting materials through Interlibrary Loan and creating personal accounts that can list users’ favorite titles and personal book reviews.
