Delaware Notes Available Online


    The University of Delaware Library announces the availability online of Delaware Notes, which was published in 34 volumes by the University of Delaware from 1923 to 1961. All of the issues have been digitized by Library staff and are available online in the University of Delaware Library Institutional Repository at [dspace.udel.edu:8080/dspace/handle/19716/4445].

    The articles published in Delaware Notes over the years covered a variety of subjects and were written by University of Delaware faculty members.

    Over the years, articles for Delaware Notes were written by approximately 100 different faculty members, including Ned Allen, Jan De Armond, Lloyd Goodrich, William Ditto Lewis, Ernest Moyne, John Munroe, H. Clay Reed, W. O. Sypherd, and many others. Ezra B. Crooks served as editor of the first 13 volumes until his death in 1941. Following that, Delaware Notes was edited by a faculty committee.
