Library Offers GIS Workshop


    The University of Delaware Library will present a workshop on Digital Mapping using ArcView 9.2 during the 2010 Spring Semester. 

    Introduction to Digital Mapping using ArcView 9.2:  GIS allow researchers to visually analyze geographic data and attributes of that data, project multiple conclusions, and present findings in such a way that others can easily interpret them.  This class will introduce participants to basic ArcView GIS tools and functions, including adding data, symbolizing, joining table data, making queries, and map making.

    Time:          Wednesday, March 3, 2010, 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    Location:    Student Multimedia Design Center Classroom B, Morris Library, Lower Level
    Presenter:  Shelly McCoy, Associate Librarian and Head, Student Multimedia Design Center
