Library Makes GREENR Database Available

The University of Delaware Library announces the availability of GREENR (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources), a new electronic resource.

GREENR allows University of Delaware faculty, students and staff to navigate issue, organization and country portals. A one-stop site, this resource provides news, video, primary source documents and more in highly accessible research areas covering relevant categories such as energy systems, healthcare, food and others.

Using Web-like functionality and multimedia to deliver information, GREENR offers hundreds of English-language international newspapers, magazines and referred journals; recognized sources of videos, podcasts and images, updated daily; searchable case studies to support targeted research; and, a variety of search and browse options.

Today's important environmental issues are shaping the future and reach far beyond the United States with topics like food safety to the impact of economic development on international relations. Additionally, as green collar jobs grow, GREENR will support students preparing for future careers in the industry.

GREENR is available and licensed for students, faculty, and staff of the University of Delaware from the Library Database Page at [www.lib.udel.edu/db/] or from the Databases click from the Library Web page at [www.lib.udel.edu].
