The University of Delaware Library will offer a new online workshop on the topic of “Grants for Nonprofit Organizations.” This new workshop will be held within the online environment of Second Life (SL).
The workshop, conducted entirely in Second Life, will focus on the Foundation Directory Online and other databases that provide information on grants from private foundations, corporations and public charities. The workshop will cover strategies for database searching, procedures for using alerting services and RSS feeds, and ways to locate additional grant information on the Internet.
The Foundation Directory Online is accessible at more than four hundred funding centers and libraries located throughout the United States.
