Library Makes Reaxys Available


    The University of Delaware Library announces the availability of Reaxys, a web-based version of CrossFire Beilstein, which has been superseded.  Reaxys isavailable to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff.
Reaxys is an online search and retrieval system for chemical compounds, bibliographic data, and chemical reactions. It is built to support chemists in their daily work with focused and relevant information in chemistry.
Three databases were combined to create the Reaxys database: the Beilstein database, the Gmelin database, and the Patent Chemistry database. The content in Reaxys comes from the following sources and is updated monthly:

    Reaxys search, analysis, and workflow tools are designed around the needs and common tasks of users, including:

    Users may register (at no charge) to create “Alerts” and take advantage of other personalized features.
