Library Announces Springer Protocols

The University of Delaware Library announces the availability of Springer Protocols, an important new electronic resource from Springer, a major science and technology publisher, available to University of Delaware students, faculty, and staff.  (Although similarly named, this is a different resource than the previously announced Springer eBooks.)

Springer Protocols is listed on the Library “Databases” page [www.udel.edu/library/db].

Access to the content of Springer Protocols is provided via Springer's platform for electronic resources, SpringerLink. Users are able to conduct a search in SpringerLink and get results from Springer Protocols as well as from Springer eBooks, Springer eJournals and other Springer resources. Springer Protocols provides access to thirty years (1980-2010) of scientific protocols, which are step-by-step procedures that enable researchers to reproduce laboratory experiments. Protocols are taken from a variety of Springer publications including books and journals. A few video protocols are also available. By using the My Protocols feature, users can upload their own protocols or save favorite protocols.
