Reference & Information Assistance

The Reference and Information Desks are located on the main floor of the Morris Library. The Information Desk, located near the entrance of the Library, gives visitors to the Library an immediate place to seek information. It is a point of referral to people and locations within the Library and a place where informational questions regarding the Library and the University are answered.

The Reference Desk, located in the Reference Room on the first floor of the Morris Library, is staffed most hours that the Library is open. Staff at the desk are available for assistance with any questions or problems related to use of the Library and its holdings. Staff can answer questions related to research and can help to select materials on a subject, suggest appropriate periodical indexes, or assist with electronic library resources. The Reference Desk is often the best place to go when getting started on a research question.
