  "Covers art history and computer applications in art history." Divided into broad categories including large collections of art history resources, university departments, art history organisations, art imaging projects, online publications, and more.
• Voice of the Shuttle
  One of the premiere resources for humanities research on the Web. Of particular interest are the sections on Art History, Art (Modern and Contemporary), Architecture, Archaeology, and Photography. "Woven" by Alan Liu, University of California, Santa Barbara.
• World Wide Arts Resources
  An extensive and eclectic collection of art-related resources. Includes Web sites for art history, the current arts scene, film, theatre, dance, antiques, and more.

  Perseus is an interactive multimedia digital library of Archaic and Classical Greece and Rome. Headquartered at the Classics Department, Tufts University.
• Byzantium: Byzantine Studies on the Internet
  An extensive collection of links to Byzantium and the Byzantine Empire. Created and maintained by Paul Halsall, University of North Florida.
• The Labyrinth: Resources for Medieval Studies
  "The Labyrinth is a global information network ... to electronic resources in medieval studies through a World Wide Web server at Georgetown University ... " Resources are organized under broad subject categories and are also fully searchable for specific topics.
• Renaissance, Baroque & Eighteenth-Century Art: Art History Resources on the Web

• Eighteenth-Century Resources

• AskArt
  "The ArtistsBluebook: Extensive information on 25,000 North American Artists." Note: Some services on this site are fee-based.
• Making of America
  "Making of America (MOA) is a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology. The collection contains approximately 1,600 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints. The project represents a major collaborative endeavor in preservation and electronic access to historical texts." A collaborative effort between the University of Michigan and Cornell University.

• Archaeological Resource Guide for Europe (ARGE)
  The Archaeological Resource Guide for Europe is the official World Wide Web Virtual Library page for European Archaeology. It is an indexed collection of hypertext links to all currently available archaeological web pages in Europe. Resources are organized by country, by subject, by period.
• ArchNet: WWW Virtual Library - Archaeology
  "ArchNet provides access to archaeological resources available on the Internet. Information is categorized by geographic region and subject." Hosted by the Archaeological Research Institute at Arizona State University.
