The International Trade Administration provides assistance and encouragement to U.S. exporters in accessing foreign markets for products. This sites provides information on most of the ITA's programes and services.
The Bureau of Export Administration

This is the official government web site of US Department of Commerce-Bureau of Export Administration. The Bureau has control over most of the regulated exports, and the sites provides useful information on international business issues.

TextLine is a leading information database covering the global business environment. It contains news and editorials from international and regional newspapers, magazines, trade journals and newswires. It covers both the business and public policy issues impacting on business decisions.

LexisNexis Statistical /IIS.

Indexes and abstracts of statistical publications issued by the federal government, state governments, private publishers, and international and intergovernmental organizations. Statistical Universe includes hypertext links to agency web sites and to the full text of the publication, if the agency has made it available. It is the equivalent to the print indexes American Statistics Index (ASI), Statistical Reference Index (SRI), and Index to International Statistics (IIS), located in the Reference Room. The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide easy access to the full range of statistics and information produced by these agencies for public use. Includes a browse by topic section called FedStats: A to Z.
