Books are searchable in DELCAT by author, title, and subject. Some useful subject terms include:

Finding Periodicals

Current issues of magazines, journals, and newspapers are located in the Periodicals Room. They are shelved alphabetically by title. When they are bound, magazines and journals are assigned call numbers and are shelved in the main collection. Please consult DELCAT for call numbers of periodicals.

Indexes and abstracts are used to locate articles on particular topics appearing in magazines and journals. Especially useful indexes include:

Finding U. S. Documents

Most federal government documents are located in the U.S. Documents collection on the Lower Level. They are arranged by a special call number system, the Superintendent of Documentsclassification, called "SuDocs" for short, designed especially for federal documents. Some documents are received in microfiche. These are also arranged by SuDocs call number, in cabinets adjacent to the U.S. Documents Collection. Additionally, many federal publications are available on the Internet.

Note: Most federal government publications prior to June 1994 are not listed in DELCAT. Use MarciveWeb DOCS (Library Databases) to locate information about federal publications prior to that date.

Doing Business in [Name of Country]. Information Guide Series. New York: Price Waterhouse & Company.
Various call numbers. Check DELCAT using either doing business in and with [name of country] ( title) or doing business with [name of country] (title). Price Waterhouse's Information Guide series covers over 60 countries. Gives information on investment climate, doing business, accounting and tax practices. Note: there are other similar publications which you may also find useful.
