The University of Delaware Library maintains a representative collection of children's literature, ranging from reference books which provide information about children's authors and illustrators, best books for children, reviews of children's books, etc., to picture books, fiction and non-fiction written for children and young adults. While the collection is not comprehensive and does not replace the public library as a source for children's books, it is designed to support the curriculum and research interests of University of Delaware students and faculty. Award winning books of outstanding quality are automatically acquired, as well as other important children's books.
The following list includes some of the major sources shelved in the Reference Collection, Morris Library. For other children's books, check DELCAT by author, title, subject heading(s), or keyword(s).
