CINAHL Plus with Full Text (Nursing & Allied Health) ![]()
CINAHL Plus with Full Text is the premiere database for searching the nursing periodical literature. CINAHL Plus with Full Text includes some health-related full-text legal cases, clinical innovations, drug records, JCAHO accreditation records, practice acts, standards of practice, patient education material (pamphlets), research instruments, critical paths, government publications, systematic reviews and clinical trials. Most of the state nursing journals are included full-text along with selected newsletters and a few government periodicals.
Health and Wellness Resource Center
These two databases provide access to medical, health, and wellness information. Besides including the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, they also include full-text magazines, journals, and
pamphlets from a variety of authoritative medical sources. There are also links to pertinent Web sites. Health and Wellness Resource Center will eventually replace Health Reference Center-Academic. The coverage in Health and Wellness Resource Center is from 1997-present and in Health Reference Center - Academic the years of coverage are 1980-present.

MedlinePlus is a goldmine of good health
information from the world's largest medical library, the National Library
of Medicine. MedlinePlus
has extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other
trusted sources on about 500 diseases and conditions. There are also lists
of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and dictionaries,
health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and
nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to
thousands of clinical trials. MedlinePlus is updated daily.
Physical Education Index ![]()
An index to the literature of physical education, with
links to full text. Records are indexed and classified from peer-reviewed
journals, report literature, conference proceedings, and trade magazines.
Abstracts feature a wide variety of content related to gerontology including muscle strength, risk factors, and heart disease. Health education and physical therapy are also covered.
The years of coverage of the Physical Education Index are
1970 to the present.
