Web site of the Federal Interagency Forum on Aging-Related Statistics. Provides links to multiple agencies that provide age-related statistical information.
Data Sources for Research in Aging
The web site is designed to aid researchers in aging find cross-sectional studies, time series, contextual data, and other data relevant to their research. About 55 studies and datasets have been highlighted in order to provide easy access to some of the most well known and useful studies of the sociological, economic, and medical aspects of aging. A small selection of relevant studies are listed, but the archives, government agencies and NGOs listed below will help serve as a gateway to hundreds more.
National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA)
NACDA's mission is to advance research on aging by helping researchers to profit from the under-exploited potential of a broad range of datasets. NACDA acquires and preserves data relevant to gerontological research, processing as needed to promote effective research use, disseminates them to researchers, and facilitates their use.
National Center for Health Statistics
Government's principal vital and health statistics agency. Since 1960, when the National Office of Vital Statistics and the National Health Survey merged to form NCHS, the agency has provided a wide variety of data with which to monitor the health of the nation.

Elderly Abuse and Exploitation Project
The Elderly Abuse and Exploitation Project is part of the State Department of Justice, Fraud and Consumer Protection Division. The project focuses on protecting Delaware's older citizens from fraud and exploitation through public education, as well as investigation and prosecution of exploitation cases.
