Collections of Texts

Listed below is a selection of sites which have made electronic versions of Greek and Latin texts available. More collections of texts can be found at all of the sites listed above. In most cases, the versions available in electronic form are older editions which are outside the bounds of copyright restrictions. This does not affect the quality of the texts so much as the quality of the commentaries (where applicable). If you use electronic texts, be sure to be aware of the date and edition of the material.

Study and Teaching

The sites listed below all provide links to a wide variety of resources which could be valuable to Latin teachers.

Archaeology

The Web sites listed below deal strictly with archaeology, rather than with classics in general. These sites supplement and complement the Web sites listed above in the Starting Points section.

Journals Online

The sites listed below contain lists of and links to online journals. It is important to note that the online version of each journal may consist of the full text of the journal, or it may consist of a table-of-contents (toc), abstracts, some (but not all) articles in full text, or merely an information page about the journal.
