Using information from the Internet can be very risky without consideration of some basic guidelines for evaluating the resources available. This site gives articles, checklists, etc. which enable the researcher to make judgments about the quality and reliability of the health information found in cyberspace.

This Web site, offered by health agencies and other reputable sources on hundreds of health topics, covers a wide range of trustworthy information from over 550 other Web sites, has over 500 online documents including health publications and technical literature, and connects the user to online discussion and self-help groups. It also features databases that can be searched by topic. Healthfinder answers frequently asked questions on selected topics as well.
