Delaware Estuary Program
The Delaware Estuary Program (DELEP) is a multistate effort to address the long-term vitality of the region using the concepts of sustainable development. The Estuary covers 22 counties and over 500 municipalities in three states (Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania). The Program was established to promote partnerships in the region, educate and inform agencies and organizations about sustainable development, and establish a network to foster programs, workshops, and technical assistance to achieve sustainability in the region.

Sustainable Energy Utility Task Force of the Delaware General Assembly
This legislative task force was created on July 1, 2006 to examine the feasibility of developing a Sustainable Energy Utility for the State of Delaware. The Sustainable Energy Utility is envisioned as a nonprofit entity that develops end-user markets for energy efficiency, customer-sited renewable energy, and affordable energy services for low-income families.

Higher Education Associations Sustainability Consortium
HEASC is an informal network of higher education associations (HEAs) with a commitment to advancing sustainability within their constituencies and within the system of higher education itself. HEASC was formed in December 2005 by leaders of several HEAs to support and enhance the capacity of higher education to fulfill its critical role in producing an educated and engaged citizenry and the knowledge needed for a thriving and civil society.
Penn State's Center for Sustainability
The projects at the Center involve the efforts of interdisciplinary faculty and students from across the University Park Campus, and many volunteers from the local community. Alliance for Global Sustainability
The Alliance for Global Sustainability (AGS) is a unique, international partnership between four of the world's leading science and technology universities: Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHsustainability),
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT/AGS), University of Tokyo (UT), and the Chalmers University of Technology (Chalmers). Created in 1997, the AGS today brings together hundreds of university scientists, engineers, and social scientists to address the complex issues that lie at the intersection of environmental, economic, and social goals.

Center for Sustainable Innovation
CSI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation created in 2004 by its founder, Mark W. McElroy. Its purpose is to conduct research, development, training, and consulting for, and with, companies around the world interested in achieving sustainability in the conduct of human affairs, especially their own. Of particular (but not exclusive) interest to us is sustainability in social learning. Some social learning or innovation environments, we believe, are more sustainable than others.
National Academy of Sciences: Sustainability
The National Academies have established a Science and Technology for Sustainability Program (STS) in the division of Policy and Global Affairs to encourage the use of science and technology to achieve long term sustainable development - increasing incomes, improving public health, and sustaining critical natural systems. Specific projects under the STS program include the Roundtable on Science and Technology for Sustainability and a workshop series entitled Strengthening Science-Based Decision Making.
United Nations Division for Sustainable Development
The Division for Sustainable Development provides leadership and is an authoritative source of expertise within the United Nations system on sustainable development. It promotes sustainable development as the substantive secretariat to the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) and through technical cooperation and capacity building at international, regional and national levels. The context for the Division's work is the implementation of Agenda 21, the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation and the Barbados Programme of Action for Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States.
