Link to Articles

Introduction

Add links to articles to your web page. Any of the databases in the list of Databases With Article Links can be used. In these databases, the URL of the page persists even when the session is over, a Persistent URL (PURL).

Why link to articles?
  • Faculty and students in all departments can link directly to full text of articles.
  • Linking to articles is easy. If you can copy and paste, you can link to articles.
  • Web pages with links to articles are available 24 hours a day. They can be accessed through any campus computer attached to the Internet and from off-campus through the Library's proxy server. See How to Connect for more information.
  • The vendors have resolved all copyright issues. Articles are available at no extra cost to the user or the Library.

Limitations

  • Your browser must be set to accept cookies (this is usually the default setting).
  • Check links periodically.
