Genealogy researchers can find
valuable information in church and cemetery records. Some churches
keep records of baptisms, burials, and marriages, which provide
dates and family relationships. Tombstones and cemetery records
often identify the names of previously unknown family members and
reveal much more than just the year and cause of death. This workshop
covers the types of information included in these family documents
and introduces Internet sites and resources in the University of
Delaware collections that can help researchers locate them.
Ancestry Library Edition is available
