Technology for Use in the Library

The Library has more than 200 computers available for public use including:

• Computers to access e-mail
• Computers to access Library and Internet resources
• Digital Microform Scanner
• Digital Mapping Station/GIS (Geographic Information System)

The Library has copiers on every floor that accept Library Copy Cards. Some copiers on the First Floor and the Lower Level accept bills and coins.

Microforms & Copy Services has color copiers, color scanners, and copiers that accept bills and coins.

Access to Electronic Resources in the Library
The Library subscribes to (licenses) 6,800 electronic journals and more than 230 databases. These electronic subscriptions are available for use in the Morris Library and the branch libraries.

Note: Library Databases and electronic journals licensed from commercial publishers are not available from outside the Library to users who are not University of Delaware students, faculty, or staff due to legal restrictions from the publishers or vendors.
